Claude Cowork looks like a coding tool. Anthropic's own data says otherwise: over 90% of use has nothing to do with software development. We'll demo the real business tasks it's actually built for, live.

Overview

About this webinar.

AI agents made their name writing code. Anthropic's own usage data on Claude Cowork tells a different story: across 1.2 million sessions, over 90% had nothing to do with software development. The two biggest categories, business operations and content creation, add up to roughly half of all use.

Cowork now runs on Anthropic's servers instead of just your laptop, so the work keeps going after you close the lid, on web and mobile as well as desktop. That changes what's worth handing off: clearing a stack of expense approvals before month-end close, building a renewals calendar out of a folder of contracts, or turning last week's call notes into a deck that's ready before your next meeting.

We’ll build one of these live, a real business task rather than a toy example, so you can see exactly what handing Claude a job, not a question, looks like in practice.

What you'll learn:

  • What Cowork actually gets used for, according to Anthropic's own usage data
  • How to hand Claude a multi-step task instead of asking it a question
  • What changes when the work runs in the cloud instead of on your laptop
  • Where to start: the first business task worth handing off

Who should attend:

Business-ops leaders and non-technical teams who assumed Cowork, and tools like it, were built for developers. If your team doesn't write code, this session shows you where the actual value is.

What you'll leave with:

  • A live example of a Cowork task built start to finish, that you can copy
  • A shortlist of your own team's work around the work worth automating first
