Kowalah is a UK Anthropic implementation specialist: we turn a Claude Enterprise commitment into Claude agents and workflows in production, adopted across the business. Kowalah works with CIOs at UK-headquartered organisations of 1,000 to 10,000 employees that have committed to Claude Enterprise. Sectors include financial services, professional services, education, manufacturing, construction and logistics. The typical starting point is a signed, or nearly signed, Claude Enterprise agreement and a board that wants to see progress.

Every engagement starts with a 30-minute conversation and, if there is a fit, a Vision Map Workshop. The workshop maps where Claude creates value across your business and produces a defensible roadmap and proposal within five working days. It sits within Strategy & Advisory, from £15,000, and sizes the rest of the programme before you commit to it.

A Kowalah programme covers four pillars: Strategy & Advisory (programme design, governance, success metrics and board reporting), Design & Build (Claude agents and workflows taken into production), Change Enablement (communications, training, a Claude Champions network and adoption measurement) and Managed Services after go-live. Each pillar can be engaged on its own or as one combined programme. Delivery follows The Kowalah Way, a phase-gated method with named deliverables at every stage and a security checkpoint before any build starts.

A first Claude agent or workflow, scoped to one measurable business outcome, goes live in six to eight weeks. Before that, the Vision Map Workshop produces a roadmap and proposal in five working days. The wider rollout is then phased function by function.

Programmes start with Strategy & Advisory from £15,000, which includes the Vision Map Workshop. Design & Build is priced by what goes live: from £15,000 for one agent in production and from £50,000 for a redesigned process. Change Enablement is priced per employee (about £220 per employee at 1,000 staff, falling to £155 at 10,000), and Managed Services runs from £170,000 a year. A complete mid-range year one for a 1,000-employee organisation is about £560,000, excluding VAT and Anthropic licensing.

Yes. The Kowalah Platform can be used on its own, starting free: the Free plan has one contributor and up to five viewers, with no time limit. Team costs £20 per contributor a month (£16 a month billed annually, from three contributors), and Business and Enterprise plans are priced on request. You pay only for contributors, the people who build and maintain your AI Operating Model; viewers are free on every plan.

Yes. We work inside your existing Microsoft 365 and Azure environment from day one, including running Claude through Microsoft Foundry, and alongside Copilot where you already use it. Anthropic's Microsoft 365 connector needs one-time consent from an Entra Global Administrator, so we plan permissions with your Microsoft administrators before rollout.

A partner tier measures the size of a firm's Claude practice, so weigh it alongside a provider's delivery method, team and references.

For most Microsoft organisations it is not either-or: keep Copilot for everyday work inside Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel, and add Claude for long, document-heavy work, multi-step agents and agents you build yourself. Choose Claude Enterprise over ChatGPT Enterprise when that kind of work dominates and you want one plan covering chat, Claude Cowork and Claude Code. ChatGPT Enterprise can suit organisations where UK storage at rest for the everyday app is a hard requirement, and running both under one governance model is a legitimate answer.

Anthropic does not use customer data from commercial products such as Claude Enterprise to train its models by default, and holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications. Data for the everyday Claude app is stored in the US. UK or EU data residency is available when Claude runs through Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Foundry) or Google Cloud Vertex AI, where you choose the region (Amazon Bedrock offers European regions); this suits the agents and applications you build rather than the everyday Claude app. Agree with your DPO which data classes Claude may process, and check Anthropic's data processing agreement against UK GDPR.

Change Enablement continues: communications, role-specific training, a Claude Champions network and adoption measured from launch day, because live agents only pay back when people change how they work. At go-live the programme moves into Managed Services, with a named Client Partner, an annual allocation of Expert Requests and a backlog of new use cases. Managed Services tiers run from £170,000 to £460,000 a year, with response times from 72 hours down to 24 hours.

Start with a four-week pilot using real work from two or three functions, not a sandbox. Pick a first use case with a measurable business outcome, so the pilot answers a question the board cares about. Decide agent governance before the first agent ships: who can build an agent, which systems it can reach and who owns it once it is live.
