Our story
A lesson from twenty-five years of enterprise rollouts.
Kowalah was founded by Charlie Cowan after twenty-five years in enterprise technology, leading global Salesforce, Google, and Workday rollouts into organisations of up to 100,000 employees. The same pattern showed up every time: the platform went live, and people carried on working the old way.
Give a company Google Drive and they'll still email attachments. The technology was never the hard part. Getting every person, in HR, finance, sales, operations, to change how they work is. That belief is the reason Change Enablement is a full pillar at Kowalah, not a training module bolted on at the end.
That heritage of structured, large-scale delivery became The Kowalah Way, the phase-gated methodology behind every engagement. It's why a CIO can report an AI programme to the board like any other.
What we believe
Four convictions the firm is built on.
It's an implementation problem.
Choosing Anthropic is the easy decision. The value gap that follows is almost never about the technology, it's about getting it built, governed, and used. So that's what we do.
Live isn't delivered.
Agents in production that nobody uses is a failed programme, not a delivered one. We measure success by the metric moving six months on, not the code going live.
A modern firm runs on AI.
We don't sell a future we haven't adopted ourselves. Kowalah runs its own delivery on a named team of AI agents, which is exactly the operating model our clients want to build.

UK enterprises deserve a partner in their timezone who stays through adoption, not a strong build dropped from another market and handed back cold.
AI-native delivery
We run on it too.
A traditional consultancy bills a pyramid of people. We don't. Kowalah runs its own business on a named team of AI agents on Anthropic's Managed Agents platform, with a lean human team handling strategy, client relationships, and quality. It gives us a lower cost base and faster delivery, and it means clients see the operating model working before they buy it.
