Platform · The Kowalah Plugin

Run your programme from inside Claude.

The Kowalah Plugin brings your AI operating model into the place your people already work. Your vision, your processes, your constraints and what is already in flight, available to Claude in the conversation where the work is happening. Install it and Claude stops being a general assistant.

Why it matters

You should not have to log in
to run your AI programme.

Most programme software assumes you will come to it. The Kowalah Platform holds the operating model, the pipeline, the governance and the record of what was decided, and it stays the system of record. The plugin is how you reach all of it without leaving the conversation you are already in.

So the platform is where your programme lives, and Claude is where you work on it. A process mapped in a conversation is written straight back into the model, which is what keeps the record current instead of letting it go stale between reviews.

What is in it

The connector, plus seven skills
that know how to read the model.

A connector on its own gives Claude your data. The skills give it the judgement to use it: what to check first, what a missing measurement means, and when to stop asking and go and look. You do not have to remember the names, they activate when the conversation fits.

/programme-review Programme leads

Coverage, where constraints concentrate, and whether the work in flight is aimed at the actual gaps. Tests everything against your AI vision map.

/process-diagnostic Process owners

Reads one process honestly. Where cycle time really goes, how many handoffs, and what has never been measured.

/process-redesign Process owners

Takes a process from as-is to a proposed to-be, held beside the original so the two can be compared.

/quality-bar Process owners

Acceptance criteria, gates and monitors, target scores. What good means for a step, set by the business owner rather than whoever builds it.

/spot-opportunities Everyone

Talk through your own work, find the real friction, check what already exists, and route it.

/raise-opportunity Everyone

Checks the accelerator library first, tests the idea against your vision, scores it, submits it.

/kowalah-setup Everyone

Connects the server and tells you what your account can see, including which organisation you landed in.

The tools underneath

Fourteen tools, scoped to you.

The skills are the judgement. These are what they call. Reads are scoped to your organisation so anyone can see the whole model. Writes are checked against your role and your position in the org tree, and where you cannot edit something directly the tool routes you to a proposal rather than refusing.

Read

kowalah_get_operating_model The unit tree, with coverage, process counts, redesign gaps and constraints rolled up across every subtree.
kowalah_get_operating_model_unit One unit in detail, with the processes it owns.
kowalah_get_process A process returned as a diagnosis: elapsed time against hands-on time, handoffs, and what has never been measured.
kowalah_get_vision The vision statement, guiding principles with their defining attributes, and the success measures.
kowalah_get_update Projects, deliverables, Expert Requests, opportunities and risks, scoped to what your role can see.
kowalah_find_accelerator Your organisation's private accelerators plus Kowalah's global library.
kowalah_get_my_training Your training enrolments, your agenda, and how you are getting on.

Write and propose

kowalah_save_process Create or update a process in the model.
kowalah_save_process_step Create or update a step, including its disposition.
kowalah_save_process_step_eval Record a quality score against a step.
kowalah_save_org_unit Create or update a unit in the org tree.
kowalah_propose_process_change Propose a change where your role cannot edit directly.
kowalah_propose_redesign Propose an as-is to to-be redesign, held beside the original.
kowalah_create_opportunity Raise an idea, question or ask with the Kowalah team for triage.

How the skills help

A Kowalah consultant,
inside your own Claude.

Your people are not AI consultants and should not have to be. The skills carry the method we would bring to the room, available to everyone in your organisation, in the Claude they already work in.

01

They start from what you already recorded

Your operating model holds the owners, the steps, the timings and the constraints. The skills read it before they ask a single question, so nobody gets re-interviewed about something the business already knows.

02

They bring the method, not a menu

A skill does not wait to be told how to run a diagnostic. It knows what to look at first, what to test it against, and when the answer is solid enough to act on. That sequence is what experience buys, and it runs the same way every time.

03

They reach everything your Claude reaches

Because they run inside your own Claude, the skills combine your operating model with whatever else you have connected: the documents, the email thread, the spreadsheet someone sent last week. The context a consultant would have to ask you for, they already have.

04

They tell you what your data does not say

Where a step has no owner or has never been timed, the skills say so rather than filling the gap. An unmeasured process that reads as a clean one is the failure mode that costs the most.

Who it is for

Three readers, one model.

Everyone in your organisation can read the whole operating model, whatever their role, and can propose a change to any process they can see. What you can edit directly depends on where you sit.

AI programme leads

You are accountable for AI across the organisation or a division. Where is the business constrained, is the work in flight aimed there, what happens next.

Process owners

You own a real business process. Where the time goes, whether it needs redesigning or automating, and how you know the AI is doing it right.

Everyone else

You have no formal role in the map. Talk through your own work, find where AI helps, and log what is worth doing.

Access and data

Scoped to the person asking.

The connector authenticates with OAuth and scopes every query to the organisations the signed-in user is an accepted member of. Writes are permission-checked against the caller's role and position in the org tree. Clients never see another client's data, and internal fields are stripped before anything reaches Claude.

Install it

Three routes in, no administrator required.

The plugin is public, so you can read every skill before you install it. Sign in with your work email address, because the domain is what places you in your company's organisation, then run /kowalah-setup to confirm what your account can see.

01

Add it yourself

In Claude, open Customize, then Plugins. Add the marketplace at github.com/kowalah-dev/kowalah-plugin, leave sync on, then find Kowalah in Discover and add it. You pick up new versions as we ship them.

02

Or in Claude Code

Two commands: add the marketplace, then install the plugin. Same skills, same connector, in the terminal.

03

Or roll it out to everyone

A Claude Team or Enterprise owner uploads it once and your people find it in their own Discover tab, set to available, installed by default, or required.

The plugin needs a Kowalah engagement. Every tool is scoped to the organisations you belong to, so signing in creates an account but the skills have nothing to show until it is attached to your company's Kowalah organisation.

Ready when you are
