About this webinar.
Anthropic retired its old Claude-in-Slack app this month. What replaced it is Claude Tag — a persistent, shared version of Claude that lives inside your team's Slack channels, remembers what it's already been told, and takes on real work the moment anyone types @Claude.
This isn't a personal chatbot. Everyone in a channel works with the same Claude, so a task one person starts can be picked up, steered, or finished by someone else. Anthropic says 65% of its own product team's code is now created through its internal version of the tool, and the same pattern is spreading into support, data analysis, and sales.
What you'll learn:
- How Claude Tag works in a live Slack thread — tagging, task breakdown, and a finished result posted back
- What 'ambient mode' does: Claude following a stalled thread and following up before anyone asks
- How admins scope which tools, data, and channels Claude can touch, so a sales channel's Claude can't see HR data
- Where Claude Tag fits next to Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and which one to reach for
Who should attend:
Anyone running a team of five or more where the same questions get re-explained every week: ops leads, engineering managers, department heads, and anyone deciding whether to bring AI into the tools your team already lives in rather than a separate app.
What you'll leave with:
- A working sense of whether Claude Tag replaces or complements what you already run
- A first channel to pilot it in, and the access boundaries to set before you do
